(...somehow i have found myself with a woman
who inhales my imperfections and sings our praises
in the shower. she sings in a voice I have never heard before.
a voice that emcompasses our past and present
and leaves a space for the future. and i've offered her forever in the same
place we learned how to walk. we've crawled through broken glass
and we now offer our bruises to the altar as proof
that real love can still breed in this abused soil.
we have found the answer to the riddle in the curves
between our lips and i beg you to take a picture.
i have signed my name in her palms so there are more questions.
i have sprinkled pieces of myself on her floor like rice so i'm already
halfway there...)
