so i got my hands on some rough ass copy for kelis's upcoming album "kelis was here" and it sounds DOPE. granted she has the tendency to fall asleep on her pen and write some forgettable lyrics.. (see title), but the sound is so damn good. i am so happy she ditched them neptunes boys. nothing against forreal and chad but this is such a good look for her. i was getting bored hearing spaceships whiz by her while she sung. this new soundscape is so refreshing and so dope.
