i just got that talib/madlib "liberation" mixtape and this dude creates some ill ass soundscapes. what if we heard jay-z over a madlib track. i wonder if that would go?

i have not been blogging cause well im working on something very important. im kinda planning to take over the world. lol. nah, im just applying to grad schools. ive been writing alot as well. i want to tell you the premises. so i will.
"turbulent"- i like to call this a painting because it is akin to looking at this grand painting and trying to decipher each of its parts. this particular painting is one of a chaotic, beautiful, and doomed relationship. i began writing this when i was in DC for homecoming (wrote 25 pages)
"the book of genesis" - the baby of the bunch. Adam Osujike is an unemployed athesist. Eve Luved paruses the club frequently to "have fun". Each search for God and love through Craigslist. Of course, Adam and Eve find each other. (scraps of paper here and there. ill say i have 10 pages written)
"Color"- the bigger brother of the brunch. set in 2010, a grandmother tells the story of the summer of 2000 in which Elijah, a 10 year old black boy is murdered in their town by 4 white boys. all hell breaks loose (wrote 45 pages)
my new years resolution is to begin making these a reality.
