Really really fast food.
So McDonalds wants to speed up the amount of time we spend at their fine fast food resturants. The advent of "drive thru" windows made it possible for our fat asses to not even step into the establishment. (cause u know they really don't want us to STAY in the place...why do u think they got them hard ass seats) Rather, we can drive up to a window and order at our hearts content. In minutes (in theory), we can get our food and drive away, without even unbuckling our seatbelt.
Ah the gods of McDonalds (and other fast food resturants) want to create Big Mac control centers all over the globe so the workers at the individual locations don't have to worry about punching in your order. The control center will take the order and zap it to the location where you are at. Hence, they don't have to worry about messing up your order. They would just be concerned about handing it to you. Neat, huh.
Our country continues to find ways to convienently make us obese.
So MLK really said nigga?!?!?
I keep getting all these forwards about the apparent travesty that is the MLK episode of the Boondocks. Al Sharpton is pissed. I wonder what Michael Eric Dyson thinks. (He said last year at the State of the Black Union that he "embraces his niggadom") What I find hilarious about these emails is that it always starts out as
"I did not see the episode but I heard..."
What intelligent discourse have you heard that starts off with this type of introduction. Oh shit, lemme try.
I did not see the Bush/Kerry debate but I heard Bush had a perm, son.
Yes MLK did say nigga in the episode. But MLK also said, "I should not even be saying this word. It is the dirtiest word in the English language" This is not mentioned in these forwards. Mcgruder probably placed that in the script in preparation for this type of backlash. Whatever. I'm sorry, but some of us do act like straight up niggas. Some of us are happy donning the shoe polish and tap dancing. I probably tried on a pair of shoes, myself. Man, stakes is high. (c) de la. But, I really don't see the need for the calvery because Aaron made MLK say nigga. But hey, at least he got us talking.
That Boondocks episode was the best one, thus far.

yea yo..i saw the episode, and it was kinda brash, but the message was clear: change is needed, and the ones who would point this out would be looked at as though they were traitors...
