ho hooo

no song is currently being played (GASP). I am on a public computer at Hotchkiss
where i be: Lakeville, CT (The Hotchkiss School)

this is going to be a long day. i have several meetings as well as the group dinner tonight. at least, when i am done with today, i get to rest royally cause i ain't got sht to do tommorow. alls i have to do is to drive home tommorrow. i am so tired, man. i had a really bad dream in regards to my parents and it was absolutely insane. no more late night "what's happening" episodes. it was the christmas episode when the kids' father forces them to spend christmas with him and his new girlfriend. meanwhile, mabel is all sad and crying. it was touching to say the least. anyway, it messed me up. lol.

i am waiting for a student. he is 11 minutes late. this particular student, though, is very special. special in a "The Ringer" kind of way. (if u get my drift). I am assuming he is not coming. All good. I really need a break. My throat hurts and I am beyond tired.

WE ARE NATION ADDICTED TO OIL (c) bush

word, son. Bush finally (sorta kinda) admits our (government's) obsession with oil. We burn millions of barrels everyday yo. It is something real insane for us, doggie. No wonder this Iraq shit was/is serious to Bush and co. We gotta maintain our stash and Saddam was hatin.

HARRY BELAFONTE

There is a new show on TV Land that I am assuming that will only be aired during Black History Month. It is called "That's what I'm talking about" It's a roundtable discussion on everything pertaining to Black life. The episode I saw yesterday pertained to the arts, television, and music. Facilitated by Wayne Brady, the panelists were Diahann Carroll (who remains a very very bangin person), Paul Mooney, Toure', and the incomprable Harry Belafonte. Harry, who is now an activist these days, is such a beast. His articulation of the movie industry during the segregationist times were riveting and important. He made the show. He is now one of my idols. Period.

HAMAS

Jimmy Carter is like whoa whoa whoa, give Hamas a chance. I mean, maybe they have left the car bombing and Isreal bashing behind. Whaddya say...
Oh Jimmy, they right wing pundits(hell, probably everyone) are gonna eat you up this week. You got balls, though.

JOEY PORTER

Joey Porter. LB. Pittsburgh Steelers. The outspoken one. He has been madd quiet during Media Week leading up to the Super Bowl. But some Seahawks cat kinda sorta guarnateed the Seahawks were gonna win and well...

Joey went off. There was so much he said but the best was Joey calling him a draft day disappointment. Ouch. Can't wait till Sunday.

ok my student is here...
